Hello outstanding people, TheInspiredDream.com.ng is here to stay bringing you inspiring stories of people who lead outstanding lives.
Today, Our #TheInspiredDream is an On-Air Personality who believes in the fulfilment of dreams. She is a graduate of History and International Relations from Lagos State University. We have no other than Eleso Moyosoreoluwa, a media and communications practitioner. She calls her self a talkaholic most times because she loves to talk and that happens to be what brings food to her table, *Winks*!
She started with discovery of purpose and love for advocacy which ultimately landed her in media. In her words “Although I started off as a very shy girl with low self esteem but gradually I found my voice as a result of people around me especially when I was a teenager.”
Today Moyosore is an On-Air Personality with LASU radio. She says that she didn’t start out to be a talkative, but time had it’s effect. She reiterates “It was really difficult as I thought i couldnt do anything on my own but for some reasons people believed in me, friends forced me to talk more, older ones forced me to take up leadership positions in church, teachers wanted me to be part of competitions and that was how the transformation began.”
The journey became sweeter for Moyosoreoluwa as time went on. She says “My major break if I can put this correctly should be at the point I gained admission into Lagos State University to study History and Int’l Relations. At that time I knew I was going to a path I didnt prepare for (because i wanted to study law) but I still had to get the best out of. I had become strong at public speaking and I didn’t stop pushing.
Moyo developed her speaking genius in different contests she took part in while in school. She applied for different youths summit until she met someone at a national contest who thought she would be a good presenter. That was how she began her journey into media.
She didn’t stop there, she went further to get a professional training in the field and in less than 2 months she was already presenting on radio.
That’s Moyo’s story in the speaking Industry. She also hosts corporate events due to her continuous exposure to her core genius. God had it all planned out for her but she played her own part in getting to where she is today, it’s been four years since she got into the business of speaking, a feat she’s most grateful to God for.
Despite all these achievements, there were times she felt like throwing in the towel. She says “Times when I auditioned at different media outfits and never got a response, those very sad moments when I just really felt like I wanted more but things didn’t go my way. Well, they were not sweet memories for me but the good part is I grew stronger. I was able to find strength in God who promised me from the beginning that He’d be with me all the way and also from amazing friends and of course family who really believe in me. With them, the journey got and still gets easier for me.”
Moyo is so determined to make it her chosen career that she inspires many others to live their dreams. She says “One thing I say to myself often is that I want to shake the world with my voice. I dont know how that will happen but I know it will. I want the world to remember me for my words, my deeds and actions. The fact that I have a voice and I didnt stop using it to pass the right words to the people.”
