When pen comes to paper, for me it’s like a miracle is set to be created. This is so because it still amazes me how someone would mix only 26 letters together and lives would be transformed and repositioned to fulfill their dreams.
I often like to see myself as a programmer, only that I code letters. But my coding is purposeful, I always want those that read my articles to be inspired to take a bold step towards the fulfilment of their dreams.
We have over 86 million internet users in Nigeria right now and my goal is to reach 1 million people every Monday morning with this weekly article and I want you to help me out. If 1000 of you can share this post to 1000 other people on Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and WhatsApp you’ll be helping a brother.
Now let’s get inspired! Last week I was able to tell you about a young chap of 12 who is a Nigerian already doing great with technology even to the point of knowing how to hack wifi. It inspired me, and I believe it inspired you as well. If you missed it, Click here
So today I would be sharing the story of yet another Nigerian who has invented a car that car moves on land and water at the same time. I had an interview with him last week. The full interview would be published later today. You can check back to read it.
What amazed me is that this man said he has been inventing since he was 6 years old. Let me pause to ask this question, ‘what were you doing when you were 6 years old?’ You see, society makes many of us believe that those ‘inventions’ we created when we were 6 years old were unrealistic and as such many of us drop them and pick other people’s dreams and spend the rest of our lives struggling to fulfill them.
Can I challenge you a little to take a moment to reflect at the things you believed you could achieve when you were little. The books you taught you would author which would make you a best-seller, the song you thought you would sing that would bring you to limelight, the movie you thought you would act that would inspire others, the machine that you thought you would invent that others discouraged you from doing, the computer program you thought you would make that would solve prevailing social problems and so on.
Colonel Sanders after serving in the army decided to wake up his dream to cook, and many decades after Kentucky Fried Chicken is waxing strong.
Whatever your dreams are, I believe they can still be fulfilled if you wake them up. I believe that fulfilling your dreams is easy and enjoyable because it is innate, it is an expression of your purpose. God put it there. It might take a while with little challenges here and there, but if you keep at it, you would be celebrated.
To the fulfilling of your dreams!
I’m yours truly,
