BRIDGEAFRIQUE: How would you introduce yourself and your type of music?
3FACE NICHOLAS: My name is Nicholas Ehi Anthony popularly known as Nicholas Triface. I would like to state that Triface simply means TRINITY..I am from Edo state in West Africa Nigeria. A Gospel Inspirational afro hip hop artiste. I do more of inspirational motivating songs which can help our day to day life.
B.A: What prompted you into music and what message do you really want to pass across to your fans through your music?
3FACE: I WOULD SAY IT IS WHAT I WAS BORN TO DO. OF COURSE, MY GROWING UP IN THE CHURCH FROM AGE 5 WITH CREATIVE MOTIVATION TO SING, EARLY EXPOSURE TO DRUMS WHILE SINGING AND FALLING IN LOVE WITH OTHER INSTRUMENT BUILT THE PASSION IN ME.
MY MESSAGE: THERE IS HOPE EVEN WHEN ALL HOPE SEEMS LOST. MUSIC BRINGS HOPE AND RE-ASSURES US OF WHAT THE FUTURE HOLDS FOR US.
B.A: Who are your musical role models and how have they positively impacted your life musically and socially?
3FACE: BEING A GOSPEL ARTISTE, I DO RESPECT THOSE WHO DELIVER SONGS THAT ARE INSPIRING. MY ROLE MODELS IN THE MUSIC INDUSTRY ARE TUFACE IDIBIA, LATE. PA SUNNY OKOSUN, RON KENOLY, SUMMIE OKPOSO. THEY’VE impacted me positively because I have gained a lot from them not only in music but with the passion they have for what they do mainly in the FEAR OF GOD. I RESPECT THEM SO MUCH. THEN MIKEDIPSON HIMSELF, HE’S TOO MUCH!B.A: Thanks. How do you plan to benefit the society and the entire African Community through your music? How do you think African musicians can be better equipped?
3FACE : THIS IS SO DEEP…. HONESTLY WITH ALL HUMILITY, THROUGH MY MUSIC, LOST SOULS CAN BE REVIVED. WE ARE IN AN ERA OF CHANGE ALL OVER THE WORLD. I BELIEVE THE WORLD CAN BE A BETTER PLACE IF CREATIVE INSPIRING SOUNDS CAN BE DELIVERED.
ON AFRICAN MUSIC I MUST CONFESS OUR ARTISTES ARE UP AND DOING AS THEIR COUNTERPARTS IN OTHER PARTS OF THE WORLD BUT WE REALLY NEED TO IMPROVE IN THE ASPECT OF MARKETING, PROMOTIONS AND SOUNDS.
B.A: Any last word for your fans all over the world and what should they be expecting from you in the nearest future?3FACE: FIRST TO EVERY OF MY FANS, I APPRECIATE YOU FOR ACCEPTING TO HEAR ME DO MY THING. WITHOUT YOU I DON’T THINK I WOULD HAVE THIS PRIVILEGE.
